Kodokan Kids Academy

The Kodokan Kids Academy is where the next generation learns discipline, confidence, and respect through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Our youth program builds strong foundations in movement, self-defense, and character; preparing students not just for the mats, but for life.

Stars Class (45 minutes)

The Stars Class is the perfect entry point for experiential and kinaesthetic learners. Classes are energetic, focused, and fun. This class blends movement, drills, and simple techniques that develop coordination and confidence. Every session reinforces discipline, focus, and respect in a way that kids can understand and enjoy.

Stripes Class (1 hour)

Stripes is the next stage. These are longer sessions designed for analytical / conceptual learners. Here we push deeper into technique, strategy, and structured drilling while maintaining the values of discipline and community. Students in Stripes also begin earning achievements and working toward competition readiness, preparing them to rise through the Kodokan ranks.
